Confusion solution

Hello dearest:

I just wanted to clarify this for everyone as we are still receiving inquires for shows/tours/new music etc. We are no longer performing live together as of July 2010. Nono, nothing dramatic happened.. We basically parted ways very amiably and have gone on to other endeavors. Congratulations are in order to both Mike and Oliver, who are now both married (not to each other). Personally, Susu was a very amazing part of my life and I am so grateful for all of the opportunities and people we have met along the way.

I’m continuing to write music under the monkier, Su. You can check out my stuff on bandcamp, it’s free to download. I’ll also be going into Converse’s new studio Rubber Tracks at the end of July to kick out some new jams.

Much love + enjoy the sunshine,

Andrea Havis

P.S. You can still purchase our music at many fine online retailers like iTunes, eMusic and Amazon. In all honesty, it’s a bitch trying to make money as an artist these days and I assure you that I’m not rich. By purchasing music, it basically allows me to keep up with the cost and demands of outputting more music for you. So if you like it, buy it. (We also have a limited amount of the “Win” vinyl left, $6 (S&H included).

Thank you to everyone.

Who has supported us, encouraged us, loved us and hated us.

It’s been a great run.

Please come join us at Cake Shop tomorrow night.

We made some noise at Bruar Falls last night, with Austin hometown sweethearts The Sour Notes. Also playing were Behavior – A really great bill with really great people. Shows like these I always feel lucky to be involved in music, you get to meet so many talented people.

One of our biggest supporters, Gimme Tinnitus was there as well and snapped some really rad photos of the show. Particularly some experimental Polaroids, film provided by The Impossible Project, a new source for polaroid film.

Check em all out on GT’s tumblr here and here. (as well as check out his site for a plethora of awesome free music.)

Panama

Last week we traveled to Panama and played a super show with the Meat Puppets. Many thanks to Poti and the folks who worked so hard to put it together. Here are a few photos from the show, courtesy of Alex Alba.
